Toni Lorentzen is recent design graduate currently residing in the state of Arizona, originally born in New York she was raised outside of the city in a modest house on the water. Toni attended the first years of her college education at Mesa Community College, where she obtained her first degree. While attending MCC she interned with a company, Project Ethos; which hosted events showcasing local talents, such as local designers, artists, and musicians. Before graduating from the community college she did an additional internship for URBN inc. at her local Anthropologie, where she helped the Display Coordinator with the visuals of the store.
After wrapping up her second internship she received an associates degree in Fashion Merchandising, as well as a certificate in Retail Management. Her next step was to further her education, she chose Arizona State University and attended the Herberger Institute of Design achieving her bachelor's degree in Design Studies, Design Management in 2016. While in her last year at ASU she interned with local magazine, Arizona Foothills. While interning she assisted with their social media accounts, attended local events on their behalf, sat in on an editorial shoot, and even coordinated her own for the website. Toni has been employed at Anthropologie since 2010; she has been involved with virtually all aspects at the store level and has developed tremendously, her current position is Home Department Manager.
Toni hopes to venture out of state in order to further her career, but for now, she is developing her skills as designer, working on putting together interior spaces, fashionable looks, working along side local creatives and photographers. Toni also enjoys working with watercolors, creating projects within the Adobe Creative Cloud, and working with other various mediums. She spends her free time traveling and scouring different cities local treasures, whether it is food, goods, or entertainment.
